Square tungsten carbide insert is used as guides of the bandsaw blade of the carcass splitter bandsaw in the slaugheter houses due to it's high hardness and good wear-resistance. Cemented carbide material as known of its high hardness and high wear-resistance makes its long tool serve life, now it has been widely used as machine parts.
